Ethan Fox is a NYC based musician and educator. He regularly performs with ensembles of various musical styles including Indian Classical, Central Asian, Jazz, Western Classical, Middle Eastern and Ghanaian musics. He is currently touring with FAR, Dogwood Duo, and Mishran Ensemble around the northeast and has given percussion masterclasses around the country. He has performed at the Chhandayan all night concert in NYC with the Chhandayan tabla ensemble and accompanied Indian music masters such as Samir Chatterjee, Selva Ganesh, and Nishat Khan. Ethan is actively involved in music education. Ethan runs his own private studio and is a Faculty member of the Chhandayan Center for Indian Music, . He is currently studying tabla as a disciple of Pandit Samir Chatterjee and Israeli Percussion from percussion master Yshai Afterman. He has Traveled to Israel and India many times to further his study of these musics.
